November 2022: Update 1

We are well into November as I write this. It's November 8th, to be exact, and I've done absolutely nothing!

Yup, you read that right... nothing!

I had high hopes for NaNoWriMo this year, but late feedback from my betas cascaded into me using the first week of November to finish editing book 1. It's finally done, however, and now I can begin my NaNoWriMo journey!

I definitely want to hit my goal of 50k words, but I'm starting off a week behind and the forecast for this month in terms of writing is going to be super tight. (I only have 16 days I can work with for writing.) As such, I really doubt I'll win NaNo this year, but if I can get most of Book 2 written, I'll be a super happy camper.

So, here's the plan for this week....

The Plan

I'd love to throw down 5k words a day, but there's no way in hell I'm going to make that. If I'm going to win NaNoWriMo, however, I need to write 3,125 words a day (assuming only 16 days to work with). So that's the plan... 3,125 words day.

YIKES!

Wish me luck!

If my stories have ever made you swoon, laugh, cry, or bite your nails with anticipation, and you're hoping I’ll keep the words coming, I'd be beyond grateful if you'd consider buying me a coffee.

That magical cup of caffeine? It tells me you're out there, reading, loving, and rooting for more romance, high-stakes drama, swoon-worthy book boyfriends, and fierce heroines facing impossible odds. A coffee is a little nudge that says, "Hey, keep going—I need more!"

Thank you so much for even considering it. Your support? It means the world to me. 🖤
