1. Leave a Review — $0, Huge Impact
Reviews help future readers decide whether to take a chance on a book and provide important social proof. Amazon is especially helpful because it remains one of the largest places readers discover and review books, particularly for indie authors. Reviews on Goodreads, BookBub, StoryGraph, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, or wherever you purchased/read the book are also valuable and highly appreciated.
2. Tell Another Reader
Know someone who would love forbidden romance, dystopian rebellion, or impossible choices? Send them a book, share my website, or simply tell them about a story you loved.
Word of mouth is one of the most powerful ways an indie author finds new readers.
3. Support on Social Media — $0
Follow along on social media, save a post you love, leave a comment, or share it with another reader. Those small interactions can help the stories travel much farther than you might realize.
5. Request the Books at Your Library
One of the most meaningful ways to support an indie author is to help their books reach new readers.
If your library doesn’t currently carry my books, consider submitting a purchase request through your local library system. Every request helps show librarians that readers are interested—and it may introduce the books to someone who would never have discovered them otherwise.
6. Buy Me a Coffee
If you've already read the books, left the reviews, and shouted about them to everyone who will listen—and you'd still like to support the stories—you can always buy me a virtual coffee.
