Summer 2023: Thoughts on the journey of writing a book.
June was a wonderfully productive month for me. Not only did I finish my rough draft of book 2 for The Dissenter Saga, but I also completed my cold-read and first set of personal edits.
Then, to top it all off, I also finished plotting out book 3 and even began writing the rough draft!
Tayler, my editor, also reached out and shared that she's begun editing book 1! So as you can see, stuff is really moving now.
Here's how things are looking:
Book 1 (Dissent) is in the hands of Tayler from Bailey and Bloom Ink, who's already begun editing and hopes to be done by the end of July.
Book 2 has been drafted and is currently on its second version. My Beta Readers will be getting their copies of the book this week.
Book 3 is already being written, with approximately already 17k on the table!
The Plan: So, here we go! For the month of July, I'll be focusing on writing book 3. My goal is to have a total of 60k words for this WIP by August.
