The weekly update....
Things are getting better... sort of.
This week was rough with our horse, which if you read my last update, you know has been a hot mess. But by the end of the week, things got better, and our time with him yesterday was a much more pleasurable experience.
My week was much busier, however, with my day job picking up and my kids back in school. But I still managed to meet my editing goals for this week, and that has been a real boost!
Along the way, I've been absolutely shocked by how much editing is still needed! I'm going through Draft 9 and I've still got tons of errors and corrections to make. And, to make things worse, when I added the extra scenes to help better develop the plot, I created a plot hole that now I have to figure out how to fix! But that's going to have to be a problem for another day. For now, I just need to keep focusing on editing this current draft and then solve the problems later.
The Plan: My goal is to review another 8 chapters, just like last week.
