Behind the Book: Author Update 5

The weekly update....

I got emotional this week....

As in, I cried like a baby. I've been juggling a lot, and my gorgeous, majestic horse decided he wanted to go back to acting like a butt. And this, of course, makes me feel like a failure, like I'm not good enough, like I'm the problem.

But we all feel that way sometimes, don't we? And it's times like these where we can show true grit, dig our heels in, and really push through.

But it's also important to recognize when you need a break. And that's what I need... a break.

So, I've called in reinforcements! And my amazing hubby has volunteered to takeover working with the horse in the afternoons for me. I'm still doing the mornings and Fridays, but he's jumping in Monday thru Thursday afternoon, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Sometimes we just need a little help.

With that said, editing continues to go smoothly. I'm about 50% of the way through, and I'm on track to be completed with my readthrough come end of February.

The Plan: My goal is to review another 8 chapters this week.

I've been sharing snippets from this WIP on my social media accounts, and also been revealing different themes that pop up throughout the story. So be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads to catch little tastes of this upcoming dystopian romance.

If my stories have ever made you swoon, laugh, cry, or bite your nails with anticipation, and you're hoping I’ll keep the words coming, I'd be beyond grateful if you'd consider buying me a coffee.

That magical cup of caffeine? It tells me you're out there, reading, loving, and rooting for more romance, high-stakes drama, swoon-worthy book boyfriends, and fierce heroines facing impossible odds. A coffee is a little nudge that says, "Hey, keep going—I need more!"

Thank you so much for even considering it. Your support? It means the world to me. 🖤
